I began this Contemporary Bronze Handmade Ring by cutting out the pattern using 16 gauge Bronze sheet metal. Next, I formed the bezel (top portion of the ring) by synclasstically forming with a delrin hammer over a stainless steel sinusoidal stake. After properly shaping the bezel to fit the irregularly shaped Amber bead, I next hallmarked the ring before forming the ring shank over a ring mandrel. Holes were then drilled at the top and bottom of the bezel and bronze wire was threaded through each end and riveted to secure the Amber beaded within the bezel. Lastly, the ring was buffed to a matte finish. No annealing was required to make this bronze handmade ring.
