First, remove all tarnish by applying the metal polish with a soft toothbrush or cloth, gently scrub, then rinse thoroughly with warm water, and dry/buff with a soft cloth. Then to re-apply the matte finish, use 0000 Steel Wool and rub wool in a circular motion until the desired matte finish is obtained.
A care and cleaning instruction card is included with purchase.
